Hello Ely,
I certainly do like Charles Bukowski! He is a unique voice among poets,
to be sure. My favorite poets tend to be from the modernist period,
though I like poetry of all eras.
As for a favorite book, well, that is almost an impossible question! I truly love Virginia Woolf's
To the Lighthouse. I recently read
The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, and that is fantastic. A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man
by James Joyce is wonderful, as well. But, I believe favorites
change through time, and it's hard to place one above the others.
Those I listed will always be at the top, though!
What are your favorite books?
Best,
Mr. Crimando
